5 Sure-Fire Boosts to Your Online Money-Making Success

Ok, you’ve purchased one of those money-maker products and it’s giving you all sorts of ideas for making money online. Now what?

Although it’s possible to generate Internet income without a website, you’ll eventually want one or even several so you can get listed in search results. But don’t forget, search engines love to send visitors to content-rich websites, so you’ll want to cram your sites with useful information. Here’s how it works… Good content impresses your visitors, who are then coaxed into buying.

What can you do to boost your fledgling online business? Study and learn, and then keep studying and learning! I know it sounds like work, but competition on the Internet is fierce and soon only the very knowledgeable will succeed. You can make yourself one of the success stories.

Here’s how to build a website business that will put more online cash in your pocket.

Step 1: Buy a product that includes a free, starter website.

Some money-making products offer a free website after you purchase the package. It’s a great start for your Internet empire, so take advantage of the offer.

Recommended: “Adwords Miracle”, “The Ultimate Wealth Package”, “The Rich Jerk”.

Step 2: Use Adwords ads to get traffic to your website in a hurry.

Check out books from the library or book stores to get familiar with Google Adwords (that's the name of Google's pay-per-click (PPC) ad program). These ads appear in the “Sponsored Links” area, to the right of web search results.

How does Adwords work? You pick targeted keywords and write a brief ad to entice your visitors to click. It’s the quickest way to get traffic to your website, but it will cost you. You bid on the keywords you want your ad to be listed for and pay the bid price each time a visitor clicks on your ad.

Recommended: If you have the money, buy at least one information product that teaches the basics of PPC advertising and gives you some insight into the techniques professional marketers use. Two excellent products are “Adwords Miracle” and “Beating Adwords”.

Step 3: Learn some HTML and put Adsense ads on your websites.

You will want to adjust and adapt your websites to add more income-producing content. For example, Google has a free program called Adsense where you place Google Adwords ads on your web pages. Google gives you the instructions making it easy to place Adsense ads on your web pages, as long as you know basic HTML.

Adsense ads are matched to the content on your pages so they’re relevant to your website and of interest to your visitors. If someone clicks on an Adsense ad from your website you get credit for the click at approximately 50% of the per-click cost the ad owner pays Google.

Here’s the benefit of Adsense: if your visitors aren’t ready to buy the products on your website, they may want to click on a relevant Adsense ad instead. If they do, you get some income to offset the cost of any Adwords ad they clicked to get to your site in the first place. In fact, some people actually make a living from Adsense revenue. You could be one of them!

Recommended: Your public library has books and CD-ROMs that can train you in basic HTML. If you prefer online instruction, try the free courses at W3Schools: (http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_intro.asp). For Adsense information: (https://www.google.com/adsense/).

Step 4: Become fluent in SEO (Search Engine Optimization.)

This is a fancy phrase that simply means adjusting the content and some of the HTML to make your websites more appealing to search engines, like Google, Yahoo and MSN. Search engines look for keyword-rich content and certain HTML tags to determine the topic of your site. The more “search engine friendly” you make your website, the higher you will appear in the search results. But why bother, if you’re forking-out cash to have Adwords ads send traffic to your site?

Consider this… Statistics show that searchers trust and click normal search engine results more than Adwords ads. So, if you tweak your site a little bit you will eventually get FREE search placement. Instead of clicking on one of your expensive Adwords ads, a prospective customer will see your website listed in the general search results and click there instead. That, my friend, is a NO COST click! Well worth a little study and some massaging of your website content and HTML.

Recommended: SitePro News. Sign up for their free newsletter about site promotion and search engine optimization at http://www.sitepronews.com. This is a quality site that won’t spam you.

Step 5: Repeat, then repeat again.

Once you’ve mastered the above strategies, you simply create more websites using what you’ve learned. Check the money-making product you originally bought for ideas for website topics and products to sell.

Your Strategy Summary.

Ok, let’s review how the whole process works. Here’s what you do:

(1) Buy a money-making product with a free website that jump-starts your online business.
(2) Use Adwords to generate quick traffic to your website.
(3) Put Adsense ads on your site to offset your Adwords costs.
(4) Tweak your HTML and website content to improve your search engine placement and visitor interest.
(5) Create more websites using the free site as a template and duplicate your success, over and over again.

That’s how money is made on the Internet. There’s no real trick to it, you simply go from one successful website to another, earning a little money from each one. With some study and a certain amount of work, you’ll eventually own a website empire that generates enough cash for you to make a comfortable online living.

What Can You Sell To Make Money Online?

More and more people are looking for a way to work at home and make money online. And the one question you hear most often asked is, ““What can I sell online?"
Hint: Why do they refer to the internet as "The Information Superhighway?”
Why, because of all the amount of information transferred every day around the 'net around the world. It's one of the main reasons people use the internet: finding information.
So one of the easiest things to start off selling is information! It's easy to create, very easy to bring to market and can be very, very profitable.
Imagine. You have a topic. What else? Well you can go to a local library and get FREE daily access to a computer to write up your information package and to gain access to the internet itself. You can find FREE website space, even if it was only for a single sales page! You can find FREE software on the internet to build that website sales page. You can set up with Clickbank for FREE and collect money for your sales. You can Spend some time writing up articles to drive traffic to your website, then post them to article websites that will accept your articles for FREE. Other website owners pick up and post your articles complete with links to your website and it costs you nothing- it's FREE !
Did I say it could be profitable?
Now, don't get me wrong. It can take a lot of work to become successful selling information. It can take a lot of work to write up and submit 20, 30 or more articles to attract more and more visitors to your web site. It can take a lot of work to learn other techniques [also FREE mind you] to drive traffic to your web site. And you need information that people really want, although with 300 million people as potential customers in North America someone should be looking for what you have.
But how many other businesses can you begin with literally nothing but the effort you put into it?
You don't need to stock costly inventory. You don't need to worry about delivery charges with an electronic product and delivery service.
The delivery is automated and works 24/7, even while you sleep!
So all you have to do is come up with the idea and you're on your way. Do you know how to sell houses? Do you know how to brew a specialty beer? Wine? Can you teach someone about hydroponics? Of course, if you can write about all of those subjects you can out them ALL online. In fact, the more information packages you put online the more opportunity you have to make money.
So, if you are looking for a way to start making money online, you can't go wrong with selling information. It's the very thing everyone is looking for.

The Key Points of Successful Online Business

Starting an online business is not a simple thing, though there is the 3U rule bearing the following three simple points, which should be obeyed to make your online business successful: Unique Offer, Unique Service, and Unique Design. As you can see, Design is not the first, as Offer and Service go before it.
Make a Unique Offer
After researching your competitors, you may feel rather confused, as there are so many of them and each one states that he is the best in the field. Don’t despair. The information you gather is necessary only to help you build your offer. You should not use it to build a case against yourself! Simply, you need all the information you can get. A competitor’s website is not the only source of information. Try to find out what his customers think about him. Do not trust testimonials; try some posts on forums, where you will get real testimonials! Find your competitor’s weaknesses and try your best to avoid them. His weaknesses should become your strong points. Your offer, however, is not the only thing to make your customers return. Your service should be unique as well.
Provide a Unique Service
The key point of Unique Service is constant feedback. Find out who your clients are and what they like or dislike about your service. This is the information for improving your service.
Do a little research on how your competitors work. Competitor monitoring is the best way to be up on what’s new on the market. You shouldn’t miss anything about them: who their customers are and why they stay with your competitor, details about their affiliate programs, who their partners are, where they get traffic, etc. – any kind of information that may be useful.
However, competitors are not the only source of ideas for improving your services. Try to study how hosting companies work. They have been in the business from the very beginning, so their experience will be of great use to any newbie to online business.
Create a Unique Design
One of the problems which rise before a newbie is the creation of a front office or website, which is almost the same thing as a front office on the Web. This is not a big problem.
Online business is not limited to website design. While having a unique website design is good, it will not make your brand unique. The real question is how can you make your brand unique?
There are several ways to solve this problem. But first you must understand that as the process of site development is rather complicated, it usually requires a team consisting of a project manager, designer, coder, and programmer. And you need only go to any one of them to begin your project. The only thing that may hamper you is the budget, as it usually costs $1000-$3000 to develop a really good website.
Very often money becomes a real problem for newbies to online business, as their budgets are not equal to the cost of website development. They should pay for not only hosting but also domain registration, an advertising campaign, etc. But this not a dead-end situation; there’s a solution that a newbie can afford – website templates. A ready-made design is the only thing you need. Simply convert it into your website by filling in the content. Though you may assume that using a website template will dilute your brand to nothing, as you won’t be the only one with this template, it is not the case. The number of downloads, which is usually displayed on a website templates provider’s site, is not the real number of the sites which have been built on the template.
How can it be so? Do website templates providers knowingly lower the number of downloads to stimulate purchases? The answer is no, as reliable providers regularly update databases with new templates. The problem is, the moment you put your site online is the moment it can be ripped off by anybody! Besides, the largest templates providers, such as Template Monster, Cool Home Pages, OSWD and others, constantly suffer from piracy.
Therefore, unique design is virtually impossible because anything can be copied or stolen and used with slight alterations. Even custom web design is not safe from intellectual parasitism and predation.
Which is preferable? Should you choose a Web Design Company or use ready-made templates? It’s up to you to decide, though using templates is not as frightful as it is considered to be. It greatly saves your money. Remember that Unique Design is not the synonym for Unique Brand.
To stand out from your competitors, you should obey the 3U rule, which will deliver you the best and cheapest advertising – word of mouth advertising.

5 Key Ways to Engage your Facebook Business Page Fans

We’ve all heard that if you are in business, you need to have a Facebook Business page or Fan page.

Now that you’ve gone ahead and built your Facebook fan page, what’s the next step?

If you build it they will come… or will they?

If you now do nothing with your Facebook page, it will do nothing for you. Congratulations, you have a cyber-slug!

If you don’t have the time to spend keeping your page updated, or you don’t have the cash in your business to pay someone else to keep your page updated, you are wasting your time. It’s that simple.

We’re a fickle crowd. If you are not keeping your page current and populated with new and interesting bits and pieces to read, you won’t be top of mind with those that have liked your page.

Without posting on your wall, your fans are not seeing your page in their newsfeed. Your fans will have to remember to find and revisit your page. They won’t.

When was the last time you actively visited a page on Facebook purely because you thought of it?

Or did you see a post or comment in your newsfeed from a friend that caught your eye and you clicked through to find out more.

My guess is option 2. Most of us operate that way. We see what others are doing or talking about and then go and have a look see.

With that in mind, how can you apply the browsing habits of most online users to your Facebook page strategy to ensure people continue to visit your page?

1. Post 2 to 3 times per week

Yes, per week. Be on your wall posting articles, comments, questions, videos, photos, etc at least 2 to 3 times per week to keep your page fans engaged.

If you are not talking to your page visitors, someone else will be.

2. Post at different times of the day / different days of the week

Unless you know exactly when your page fans are online, make an effort to post at different times of the day and also, post on different days of the week.

By posting at different times of the day, you can make sure you are appearing in the newsfeed of your fans at differing times. People are online at different times of the day. Some like to early morning browse. Some jump online after lunch. Others do a quick catch up on what’s happening at dinner time or when they’ve finally put the kids to bed and have a few moments to themselves.

Likewise, some people are more active on weekdays. Others browse on the weekend when things have slowed down at work.

Know when your target market is online and post specifically to tap into their peak browsing times.

3. Repost your content

It’s perfectly fine to write one single article and post the same article to your wall 2 or 3 times. Just make sure you spread out the time between the posting.

For example, you may post an article at the start of the month and repost it at the end of the month. Why? No one can possibly be on Facebook 24 hours a day. There will be fans that would love to read your content but were not online when you first posted it.

Reposting gives people the chance to catch it on the second time around.

4. Post Content from other Sources

Be seen as in information disseminator. As well as sharing your own information, source material that you know will appeal to your target market.

If you read an article that was helpful to you in business, chances are, it will also benefit others. So share it.

Your Facebook page visitors will appreciate the gesture and may even “on-share” it, citing you as the reference point where they found it.

This is where the ability to tag in Facebook can be really useful. An article you found and posted can easily be shared as a link by someone else, with a tag to your page as a thank you for sharing. Win-win!

5. Respond to Comments or Questions

If someone posts a question or a comment on your page, reply. Sounds simple, but I’m amazed how many people don’t even bother to visit their own page to see what is happening on the wall.

Engaging with your visitors is an ideal way to establish rapport and build up a following of loyal fans who will love to hear from you.

If you do this, chances are next time they have a question in your field of expertise, they’ll ask you. Their friends will also see that they’ve posted on your Facebook business page wall and some will click through to see why.

Why Did you Build a Facebook Business Page?

Your aim when building a Facebook business page should be to generate traffic to your page, as a source of potential leads, clients and customers.

Your challenge is to keep them interested when they get there. Keep them engaged. Keep them coming back.

That way they’ll see you as the expert and seek your advice and opinion when they have an issue to solve or question to ask.

The Three Most Commonly Accepted Affiliate Myths

Affiliate marketing has become really vast, which is why it is surrounded by a number of myths. If you want to know what those myths are, keep reading.

One affiliate marketing myth that's still around is the one where affiliates think they need to spend countless hours making websites and various blogs and then keeping them up. It's important for you to understand that affiliate marketing doesn't require much effort at al when it comes to designing a website and keeping it up with the intent of offering products. Why, you ask? That's because you don't have to keep adding to it to keep it up. An example of this would be if you had a site that was intended to review a product that you happen to be promoting. This site could stay like it is forever, unless there was something that changed with the product. There are times when you'll see that such review pages remain the same for years, without any addition of new content. It should now be apparent that you don't need to spend a lot of time making a page for the purpose of selling affiliate products. Not only that, but blogs and Squidoo pages that have your products for sale only require you to do what you can to make sure you have enough backlinks to keep your same search engine ranking. Beyond that, it's completely your call as to what additional products or information you want to add.

Another wrong impression about affiliate marketing is that you can't get positive results because of all of the people that are doing the same thing. Yes, there are a few niche markets where there is tons of competition, but that also means that there is opportunity in there. But on the other hand, there are also niche markets that have low numbers of competition. If you are serious about creating success, you must be able to do better than the competition because this will let you see what affiliate marketing is all about.

Also, it's a myth that you need many visitors to actually get sales for your affiliate product. Although you want targeted traffic coming to your particular site, it is even more important. There are sites that receive huge number of visitors but don't have many conversions. This basically means that in order to continue making consistent sales, you have to ensure that you provide what your visitors are looking for. So you see there are plenty of affiliate marketing myths, new ones as well as ones from several years ago. It's your ability to look past these myths to the goals you've set for yourself that will determine your success or failure in this business.
